Sony-Ericsson T68i: Mobile evolution

The idea that cellular phones and handheld organizers are evolving means that they are actually converging into one solution that is already a matter of fact. While Europe shows the process is clear, as the models are presently in the market, the situation in North America seems to have to make giant leaps only in the arena of handhelds.
Among the exceptions is the Sony Ericsson T68i which is the first cellular telephone from the Japan-Sweden house that can send and receive multimedia messages (MMS) thanks to the LCD colour screen.
For those that want to take advantage of the last technological novelties available in the world of mobiles, the T68i represents the ideal solution: triband (900, 1800 and 1900 MHz); GPRS technology; Bluetooth wireless technology; a 256 colour display (101 x 80 pixel); SMS, EMS, MMS and email (POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP); WAP microbrowser; 8 games; IrDA port; 510 contact telephone book; voice and telephone memos; agenda reminder for appointments and errands; a total of 1 MB of memory and photo album, with the possibility to attach an image to each contact so that they will visually appear when calling. In other words, the T68i doesn't really lack anything. Although it still can't read Word or Excel documents, it can do almost everything else.
This new model has adopted a graphic menu, with icons that are clearly visible on a white background. The T68i is equipped with a central joystick/cursor, which is simple and it intuitively drops a submenu that lists a variety of functions. The telephone can be personalized infinitely, changing or creating sounds or colour backgrounds. There are 13 screensavers to choose from and many other possibilities can be download from the internet and from WAP sites. The eight games that the Sony Ericsson T68i integrates are Arimona, Contrari, Erix, Four Piles, Naval Fleet, North Territory, Q and Yukon Struggle.
The T68i doesn't solely amuse but integrates daily functions like the organizer that contains: daily, weekly and monthly agenda; integrated recorder; space for notes; alarm; calculator; space to memorize personal codes and even a stopwatch.
