- The ROM (100 Queen's Park) presents Feathered Dinosaurs and the Origin of Flight. Included are more than 35 original fossils and a series of 15 life-size, feathered sculptural restorations of fossils. The ROM is the only Canadian recipient of this exclusive tour, which runs until August 28.

Amadeus Choir - "The Joy of Spring" will be held in Metropolitan United Church, 56 Queen Street East, on Saturday, April 9, 7:30 p.m. The promise of springtime is captured in Faure's ethereal Requiem, with soloists Rebecca Whelan, soprano; Nelson Lohnes, baritone; and Matthew Larkin, organ. The Amadeus Choir is proud to present world premieres from two Canadian composers, Matthew Larkin and Eric Robertson, commissioned by the choir. The concert will feature Eleanor Daley's beautiful Prayer for Peace.
Amici Chamber Ensemble - Strings Plus plays Friday, April 8, 8 p.m., at the Glenn Gould Studio in the Canadian Broadcasting Centre, 250 Front St. W. On the program: W.A. Mozart's Allegro for clarinet and strings; Sydney Hodkinson's Rogatio Gravis (2003) for clarinet, violin, and cello; Erwin Schulhoff's duo for violin and cello; and Robert Fuchs' quintet in E flat major, op. 102 for clarinet and strings. Lonsdale Gallery - New show of original wood constructions by Allen Hirsh. Gouged and brightly painted wooden blocks offer the base structure of the artist's abstract and intricate pieces.
