The hype is on at the movies with the completion of the trilogy for The Lord of the Rings. However, everyone will say that the book goes beyond what any movie magic can make.
If you've never had one of your own, or forbid to say have read them, this might be the opportune time. It will be the science fiction of this new century that the youth will look back on.

Hobbits are furry little creatures who love nothing better than a leisurely life that is free from adventure. In the first novel, The Hobbit, hobbits Bilbo and Frodo and their elfish friends get swept up into a mighty conflict with the dragon Smaug, the dark lord Sauron, Gollum and the awful power of the magical Ring.
Although it is said that Tolkien was not happy with his friend, C.S. Lewis' rendition of fantasy through The Chronicles of Narnia, it is evident that the dive into detail is extraordinary.
